i like to change things up every now and then.

i don't know if its some sign of A.D.D. or if it's a growth thing?

either way, it's done...

i actually have had a lot of good luck these past couple of days. i feel like it all comes at the same time.

it's overwhelming really. maybe i should buy a lottery ticket?? thoughts??

i am excited for the future and excited to share it with you.

i don't talk about mushy things i'm a horrible first date i usually shove a whole pack of gum in my mouth my laugh is different everytime i love music i look up to people who dare to be different i have so many ideas in my head sometimes i make weird expressions i color coordinate my closet i always save any ticket stubs i'm scared of fire i can wiggle my ears i love swiss cheese i have kept a journal since i was eight i wish i still owned a trampoline 

i dream about moving in a home that is a empty/plain canvas for me to design on i give awkward hugs i love black licorice i braid my hair every night before i go to bed

now you know me just a little more.

hi all. you are all fabulous and sweet. i'm so happy about the love that was shared with my cute little film i put together for all of you. i still watch it everyday because it gives me this special fuzzy feeling throughout my whole body.

i enjoy making these videos almost as much as i love well...photographing..
i have had many people ask me if i can make films for them!
(engagement video, save the dates, children....)

weekend letter..

this is baby janika {me}.

just a small pondering thought to share...

tonight i sat and stared at this photo for what felt like a good ten minutes. it was weird. i felt a little bit sad. i felt a little bit happy. i can't believe i was once this small. i hadn't figured out the whole walking thing. i didn't even know what i wanted to be when i grew up. today i pondered about where i'm going and what i've become. then i thought about the life trials, miracles, lessons, and happy experiences i have had this past year.


 i also remembered what a wonderful friend of mine told me. she said, "you always want to take care of that little girl". that little girl may not look little anymore but she is still inside me (in my heart i believe). i want to always take care of her...


 happy february. i am so grateful for all the love and new people i've already met and associated with in this great start of 2011.


oh,  and i mean this in the most humble way...
 wasn't i a cute baby? i seem to think so:)

something new..

                i tend to over clutter myself. i have too many passions. too many lists. too many projects. too little of time for more. since the new year i've decided to make some big organizational decisions. so far so good (woot woot). to make my life a little more organized and balanced (creativity wise) i've decided to add a few little projects to it & the blog. 

here they are...

on mondays i plan to blog about a little project i worked on during the previous week.

one of my other growing passions is interior design & fashion. this will be fun. and totally home made by me. stay tuned!

next...

on wednesdays i plan to blog about my life as a photographer. i am going to take one day out of my week and have it be my "free day". i'll either take snapshots of my day/week or ramble about photography.

and last...

on fridays i plan to blog about my other passion, fashion. 

i will post on some things i wore during that week. also tips and things i love about it.

on other days i plan to post my most recent photography jobs i've had. like my, children's styled shoots etc.
