i made something, while making something.

sometimes when i'm making something my mind tends to wander.

this is totally normal for me.

i COMPLETELY zone out (serious) 

and when this happens...i create things like this photo above.

i'm dangerous with scissors, paper, and tape.

i'm happy with the brain i've been given.

it keeps me entertained...

and insanely sane.

spring cleaning.

i have a lot of stuff. 

my room is covered in my art and "project materials".

i'm trying to organize it all. 

hello giant tupperware and plastic bags!

i have a fetish with storage bins and organizing bags etc.

 so this is a fun project for me.

when spring cleaning all you need is:

*music blasting.

 *an assistant (that doesn't distract you like mine does.) 

*a box of chocolates

*lots of intermissions for a mini dance party.

* a tooth brush. because lets be honest..it's more fun cleaning with one.

car is clean- CHECK

room is clean- CHECK

desktop on computer: CHECK

now i have time to go make something 

and create the mess all over again.

if you can't sleep...

last night i couldn't sleep. so at about 10:30 i decided to make something.

i hand sewed a little mushroom pillow. 

i didn't want to get my camera so i just used my phone.

maybe sewing in bed isn't such a good idea..

a lost needle can be worrisome.

happy st. patrick's day.

 today i took a small moment and photographed the green in my (messy) working space (bedroom}

(so did my bedroom, and water bottle)

thank goodness for substitute sugars. 

especially on holidays.

natural designs.

one of my most valuable sources of inspiration comes from what is all around us.

i think too many people only seek for inspiration on the internet but honestly...

 i think it's good to go outside and get inspired by what is around us.

there are so many fabulous creations that nature has created. 

who knew that nature liked art??

nature is a fabulous artist and provides us all with beautiful colors, patterns, and 

inspiration to last a lifetime.

i finally finished up a little project i started a bit ago.

i just randomly cut and pasted paper wherever i felt necessary.

i used: paper. scissors. glue. my photos.

 and of course...LOVE.
